It is explained in Tekken 4 that instead of letting the hatred consume him like it did Kazuya, he realized that it was a waste to murder an old man, who probably had only a few more years to live, so he gave up on his plans to kill Heihachi and moved on with his life and left Japan for America, distancing himself from fighting and going into seclusion, amassing his large fortune in solitude. Heihachi killed Kazuya and took over the Mishima Zaibatsu. During the tournament he met Heihachi, who was really angry with him for helping Kazuya and defeated him. Upon learning from Wang Jinrei about the corruption of Mishima Zaibatsu by the presence of Devil Gene, which lives within Kazuya, Lee is convinced and joined to the second King of Iron Fist Tourament. When he returned to the Mishima Zaibatsu he became Kazuya's secretary, and he did this only to be in a good position and later defeat his brother. Lee killed the old man, because he was feared that he will say Kazuya about his plans. Thanks to him Lee regained his technique. Then an old man saw this and began to train him. This anger caused that his technique to falter. Lee sank into a deep depression and ran to the mountains. Kazuya defeated Heihachi and took charge of the Mishima Zaibatsu. He is the middle-boss of Kazuya's story mode. Lee joined to the first King of Iron Fist Tournamnet to defeat Kazuya, but he lost. Lee was adopted by Heihachi, sometimes after the death of Kazuya’s mother Kazumi, to Jinpachi Mishima's failed coup, and finally the awakened of Kazuya’s devil-self through. Everyone who knew his power, called him " Silver-haired Demon". Lee studied fighting with Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law in the U.S. This caused extreme harted between brothers. Heihachi did not care about Lee and only used him to irritate Kazuya. He did this only for giving Kazuya a rival.
Seeing this friendship Heihachi adopted Lee when he was twelve years old. When he was a street child, he befriended Kazuya. He is still capable of killing and is considered a bit insane by his own friends.īorn Chinese, Lee's parents died when he was a child. Unlike Kazuya, Lee moved on from this and built something on his own which made him a better person who doesn't obsess with the past, though since his defeat in Tekken 4, he regained his old hatred towards only Kazuya and Heihachi, and his destiny to carry Wang's wish to end Mishima clan’s curse. Since Tekken 4, he is seen with a comedic side and is also and more optimistic, as he grew out of his days of youth where he used to envy his adoptive elder brother and desired vengeance towards his father. He started out as a secondary antagonist in both Tekken and Tekken 2, before gradually becoming a supporting character in Tekken 4 and onwards.
Prior to Tekken 6, Lee use to be a neutral character, but he also is cunning, ruthless and aggressive. His main goal is become CEO of Mishima Zaibatsu. He is Heihachi Mishima adopted son and Kazuya Mishima and Lars Alexandersson's foster brother. Lee Chaolan (in Chinese: 李超狼 Japanese: リー・チャオラン), also known by his alter-ego Violet (in Japanese: ヴァイオレット) is a major character in the Tekken fighting video game series.
